In order to activate DS smart® with your Netsmart EMR, your designated DS smart “system champion” or another authorized decision-maker from your organization will need to reach out to your Netsmart account manager to request a project lead. You may already have one assigned to you since initiation often takes place during the DS smart pre-sale process.
This Netsmart project or implementation manager assigned to complete the app integration and go-live facilitation will set up a video conference “kickoff” between all three parties to review your objectives. Facility setup (wing/unit/level of care, etc.) and caregiver access to DS smart integration with myUnity will be discussed. Then, a validation test date will be confirmed by all parties. A representative from our DS smart software development team will join as well.
This guide will show you how to go through the onboarding process for logging into Netsmart on your tablet once this integration is complete.
