If you’re having trouble getting your Edan iM3 VSM monitor to work properly with DS smart®, use these steps to check the version of the monitor to ensure the device is supported.
| 1. Select the Menu button in the lower right corner of the screen. | |
| 2. Select the Factory Maintain button in the center. | |

3. Enter the passcode (probably 998). If 998 doesn’t work, check the verification code. If this does not equal 0000, a new passcode will need to be generated for your machine (contact your DS smart representative). |

| 4. Select the System button. | |
| 5. Select the About Machine button. | |
| 6. Check that the Soft Version is 1.41 and the e-link version is 4.9.3. If not, your Edan iM3 may need to be updated to ensure full compatibility with DS smart. |
