This guide will show you how to configure your Welch Allyn Connex Spot Monitor's (CSM) Bluetooth chip to be heard by DS smart®.
1. Skip if you received a Direct Supply USB - Insert the provided USB flash drive into your computer and copy the downloaded configuration and license files onto the top-level directory of your flash drive. |

2. Power up the CSM you would like to configure. |

3. Insert the USB drive into the front port. If a Load configuration window does not show up after 15 seconds, unplug the USB drive and insert it again. |

4. Select the desired configuration to load. In most cases, only a single configuration will show up. If multiple appear, choose the one with the name you specified when creating the configuration, and without the "._" prefix. Select Load to load the selected configuration. |

5. When presented with an additional prompt, select OK to confirm overwriting the old configuration and data. | |
6. After a few seconds, you will be returned to the Home screen and shown a blue bar indicating the configuration has been uploaded successfully. | |
7. To verify the configuration has been updated, select Settings > Advanced, and confirm the name and date of the active configuration file. | |
8. If your USB Drive has a license file on it, do the following steps: |
