Thank you for your purchase of the DS smart® solution for use with the Edan iM3 Vital Signs Monitor (VSM). Included in this package are all the materials you’ll need to get started.

- Tablet, tablet case, tablet mount, power strip assembly, cable jacket, hex key,
USB cable and stylus tether - Troubleshooting Guide (includes alligator clip to attach to basket on VSM cart)
Hardware Assembly
This is the first step for assembly and installation of DS smart.
- Take contents out of box and use enclosed Hardware Assembly Guide document for
instructions. Note you will need the enclosed hex key, a small flathead screwdriver
and a medium Phillips-head screwdriver to assemble the hardware.
Tablet Setup
- Once the hardware has been assembled, take the tablet (in the tablet case) and use the enclosed Initial Tablet Setup Instructions document to install the DS smart app.
