As you prepare to implement the DS smart® solution at your communities, utilizing our training mode allows caregivers a chance to practice the workflows. This guide will show you how to activate training mode, train staff using fake resident data and return to production mode for normal operation.

1. Select Training from the main menu. From training mode, no actual vitals will be sent to your EMR. |

2. To enter training mode, select the top option to sign in. You can also view a short video that provides an overview of the DS smart workflow. |

3. In training mode the Sign in button will be blue and not feature a particular EMR logo. 4. You will now be logged into a Sandbox demo facility. Use any resident to take vitals without those vitals going into a genuine medical record. Select a resident, take vitals and save to the record. Use for as long as needed in training mode knowing that none of the vitals are saved in a real medical record. |

5. When training is complete, log out. DS smart will switch back to Production mode. Then select Login, and use your EMR credentials to sign in as normal (for Android, production mode has a blue bar at the top). |
