What does the EEE803 error on the AVSM3 mean?
This error code means the battery in your thermometer needs to be changed.
- IR (infrared or non-contact) thermometers (0-3F3K7 or BBR43) use AAA batteries.
- Tympanic thermometers (0-7TT52 or 0-GMP20) use AA batteries.
- Exergen temporal GMJ28 (by itself) or 0-BB754/0-3PKMY (with VSM) use 9V batteries.
- Use a paperclip to open the battery compartment on the underside and change the 9V battery.
- Will show the "bAtt" error
