Every week you will receive an emailed report that contains detailed information about DS smart usage. This report is designed to help you understand your DS smart engagement and optimize usage.
Here’s how to interpret it:

Packages Sent: Total number of vitals packages sent to your EMR from DS smart.

Daily Usage: How many times your staff logged in to DS smart and sent packages. Typically, packages send multiple vitals at once, and daily usage includes how often each type of vital was sent per day.
Here are some questions to help you think about your data:
- Are you trending up or down in the number of packages sent? Why might that be?
- Are you seeing higher or lower usage on particular days? Does this correlate with certain shifts or shift leaders? How can you use what is going well with other staff members to ensure more even utilization across the board?

Have you had turnover at your building recently, and has this impacted your DS smart usage? If usage is trending down, is training for new staff needed?
