You may need to resolve PCC tasks using DS Smart®. POC is a specific function within PCC, usually used to keep track of which residents have had vitals taken. While the task would usually be entering all the vitals manually into POC, DS smart takes care of that, so caregivers need to change the task to a “yes or no” question. This guide will show how to resolve these tasks.
- In PointClickCare, re-write each task per resident.
- Make sure the task is written in a way that can be answered as a ‘yes’ or ‘no.’
- Avoid tasks needing vital information for it to be completed.
- Take vitals with DS Smart.
- Using the same tablet running DS smart, switch to POC application.
- You will see most recent vital data taken from above for assigned resident.
- Answer the ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions written in step 1.
- Once all steps above are accomplished, the task will be resolved.
